Perfection

It can hold my laptop when I need, and slouches nicely when I don't, it never looks gargantuan. The ability to change straps is such a nice bonus, as well as the two inside pockets -- no more fishing for essentials. The leather is amazing quality and the bag feels built to last. The hardware is quality (I went silver), and somehow the bag remains lightweight. This was designed by someone who carries a bag and it shows.

I adore this bag

I adore this bag. I have been looking for the perfect shade of tan hobo/shoulder bag for a while and this is spot on. Cognac is a gorgeous color that goes with everything. As a mom of small kids who put their toys and half-eaten snacks in my bag, I appreciate the dark cotton lining. There is a bit of a twist with the top handle but it sits properly on my shoulder and is comfortable so it doesn’t bother me. Will probably end up getting this in black too. Thank you, Dana for making beautiful bags out of what otherwise would be thrown out!

New Favorite Bag

If you like slouchy big bags this one's a great puchase. The interior is dark, and the bag is not structured so if you don't like digging inside a bag for anything, you might want to skip. For the one's who carry everything, this is a great bag. I appreciate the ability to change the handle length to cross body, or shoulder carry. The leather is weighty but not overly so. (Not a lightweight bag, but it's not substantially heavy from the leather alone, IMO.) For a first purchase from Hyer Goods I'm thoroughly impressed and will keep an eye out for any other bags that might peak my interest. :)

I love the concept of upcycled goods but I’m disappointed

The bag is too heavy for me to use every day, I’d return it but I stupidly threw away the tag when I unpacked it. It’s also twisted slightly where the handle attaches so it doesn’t hang exactly right. Would like to exchange it but that’s probably not possible

I've officially lost count of how many Hyer Goods bags I own, but this one is perfection. It's the ultimate work/life bag! The leather is gorgeous and high quality.
